Modeling is an exciting career especially for anaspiring preteen child
model! The fashion world and all its glamour is
a big attraction for many preteen girls. Hopes
are high because preteen child models are in high
demand by today's fashion industry. Once the doors
of modeling have opened up, the sky is the limit!
Hard work and the right breaks could possibly
land you in the position of a professional preteen
model or even a super model!
Janice Dickinson is credited for coining the term
"super
model" when she was at the peak of her career
in the late 1970s. This term became popular in the
1980s and 1990s and has stuck on. Today the word "super
model" indicates that a model, either male or female,
has earned a successful worldwide reputation in the
career of modeling, and is well-known for modeling
elite brand names, haute couture fashion designers
and labels. Since the early beginnings of super modeling,
we have had a number of super models walk the catwalk.
Names like Twiggy, Cheryl Tiegs, Wilhelmina, Veruschka,
Jean Shrimpton and the recent Tyra Banks are just
a few which have become household names for us. Some
male super models include Mathias Lauridsen, Marcus
Schenkenberg, Tyson Beckford, and Mark Vanderloo.
In the early days super models were famous purely for their sex appeal. Today these models are judged for more than that-poise, personality and conduct are important factors for a super model and should be the qualities every preteen child model strives to have.
Contrary to what most people think, a super model's job is not always glamorous. It is painstaking hard work, not to mention the emotional ups and downs in an industry which can downright reject you or hold you high on a pedestal. A preteen kid model who hopes to be a professional model one day should be prepared for hard work and armed with stamina and strength to brave a career in modeling. A preteen kid model has lots of opportunities available today.
