Whether you are interested in commercial baby modeling or child modeling, resources on the web can be very useful. If you are auditioning your baby for modeling, you should be assured of the credibility and safety of the agency before you go for auditions.

Preparing Your Child for Casting Calls
Attending casting calls are the first step in getting into the modeling world. As a parent, it is your responsibility to assess and prepare your child before each casting call.
  • Understand the requirements of each casting call (what is the role expected and demands of the casting directors). For example: if the casting call is for modeling on a product package, you might want to get the product and understand the kind of models that have been used in the past. You might want to show your child the kind of commercials done for similar products and help him to practice along those lines.
  • Get a good night's rest. Be prepared for a long wait at the audition
  • Children are spontaneous and that is the beauty of their talent! So unless the casting agency has given your child some lines to rehearse, encourage your child to be himself/herself.
  • Auditions should always be something your child enjoys doing. Keep it fun.
  • Make your child aware of the possibility that he may or may not be selected. I remember my mother taking me out to do something "special" each time I faced rejection in my childhood years.
