You have a new baby on the way, which means there are so many things to consider and do before the child even arrives home. Chief among the preparations is setting up a room for baby. Keep color schemes simple. Primary colors of blue, yellow, and red are good throughout the childs early life. Pink and blue might be nice choices in the beginning, but not as practical later on as your child grows older.

Painting a room is much easier than wallpapering, but if you want to add a little zip to solid-colored walls, consider putting up a pre-printed border or vinyl wall decorations that are easily removed later on. If youre the artistic type, paint a mural on your childs walls.
