Michael Jackson: What Killed The King Of Pop?

The world stands in shock at the sudden death of Michael Jackson, The King of Pop at an early age of 50. I’m really amazed that the world did not see this coming. What killed him? His legendary music captured millions of hearts around the globe. What could be the cause of the demise of such a creative person? Several things.
We start our lives as children full of enthusiasm for nature, playing in the rain and riding our bicycles, feeling the wind on our faces… As we grow up, somewhere, that magic and innocence is lost. Waking up somewhere in mid of our lives and wondering how did I get there?
Here is my take on how; the life of the legend of pop got mixed up. The possible root causes – that could have killed one of the most creative minds in the music industry ever:
1. Michael grew up in a dysfunctional environment. An abusive father and a caring mother with a lot of children to rise. Too few resources and too many siblings to share them.
2. He never had an opportunity to live his childhood. Childhood is stage to experience all those developmental activities that we are taught all over the globe with care and affection.
3. His life narrated a story of a boy who got sudden fame and quick riches that could not have encouraged a healthy mental growth of any individual.
4. Michael’s long jump from poverty to immense wealth could have been difficult for him to adjust.
5. He was always a “Golden Kid” and a “money making machine” so at time his personal health was overshadowed by his monetary value.
What killed the legend of pop? Life, with all of its freedoms that got out of control and Death seemed to be an Ultimate escape from every problem.
May the King of pop rest in peace, as he continues to live in our hearts.
