Michael Jackson’s “This Is It” will hit the theaters worldwide on October 28th. This Is It is a compilation of rehearsals, interviews and backstage videos of legendary pop star Michael Jackson for his shows in London – that never happened.

The film, This Is It will also offer some sequences in 3D. “This Is It” will be released by Sony Pictures Entertainment and Sony Music Entertainment. For Michael Jackson’s die hard fans – sadly This Is It will only run for 2 weeks after which the film will be released on DVD.

“This Is It” is a tribute to Michael Jackson whose presence on the stage created magic every moment. Michael Jackson was a perfectionist on the stage and through this unique film, audiences will see for the first time – how much he poured into making his performances as special as they were magical. This Is It will show Michael Jackson, One of the greatest entertainers in the world – at work.

A major part of this unique docu-film “This Is It” was shot in June 2009, at the Staples Center in Los Angeles as Michael Jackson Prepared for “This Is It”.

Michael started in the music business at the age of 11 with his brothers as a member of “The Jackson 5″. Michael won 13 Grammy awards and America’s music award’s artist of the century award.
