A Christmas Carol – The famous book by author Charles Dickens is all set to hit the theaters on 6th November 2009. Disney has released the trailers of  ”A Christmas Carol” on it’s official website.

A Christmas Carol is a timeless tale of Scrooge – an old and bitter man who dislikes Christmas. Scrooge undergoes an eye opening journey after he faces the 3 ghosts of the Christmas past, present and future.

This Walt Disney movie is being promoted in a unique way – A Christmas Carol train tour will visit 40 cities during the summer of 2009. Jim Carey plays four different characters in A Christmas Carol – Scrooge the old miser and the three Christmas ghosts.

A Christmas Carol movie plot: “Ebenezer Scrooge (Jim Carrey) begins the Christmas holiday with his usual miserly contempt, barking at his faithful clerk (Gary Oldman) and his cheery nephew (Colin Firth). But when the ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Yet to Come take him on an eye-opening journey revealing truths Old Scrooge is reluctant to face, he must open his heart to undo years of ill will before it’s too late.”

Jim Carey – Ebenezer Scrooge & the 3 ghosts of Cristmas

Gary Oldman – Scrooge’s faithful clerk

Colin Firth – Scrooge’s cheery nephew
