Dough Art

In this fun filled activity, you are required to have a frozen or homemade bread dough, food coloring, and paintbrushes. First you defrost the dough in a large greased bowl with a towel over it to prevent it from drying out. This process takes about 2 to 4 hours. When the dough has risen, break it up into piece and give a piece to each child. Have your child create something out of the dough and then place it on a cookie sheet, where they can paint them to add style. Let the cookie sheet rise for 1 to 2 hours and then bake for 20 to 30 minutes at about 350 degrees.
