Museum Seeks Child Spokesperson for
Ad Campaign
A St. Louis, MO museum is offering local kids the chance to see themselves on a billboard, appear in an advertisement or even record a radio commercial for an ad campaign.
From now until March 15, St. Louis Children’s Museum is holding the “Recommended By Me” contest in search of kid spokespersons to tell their community why they recommend The Magic House.
The lucky winner will be featured on a billboard displayed in the Carbondale area, appear in a print ad in their local newspaper, participate in a radio commercial and win a two-year family membership to The Magic House.
In addition to the winner from the Carbondale area, 12 additional kid spokespersons will be selected from the following cities: St. Louis; Rolla, Mo.; Columbia, Mo.; Cape Girardeau, Mo.; Washington, Mo.; Crystal City, Mo.; Wentzville; Mo.; and Mount Vernon. Each of these winning kids will be featured on a billboard to be displayed in their city, appear in their local newspaper and record a commercial to run on their local radio station.
To be eligible to enter, kids must be between the ages of 7 & 12, be available for a photo shoot on Fri., April 10, agree for their photo to be used in various publications and be available for TV, radio and print publication interviews in their city.
To apply to be a Magic House kid spokesperson, by Mar. 15th, send a paragraph of 50 words or less on why you would recommend The Magic House to a friend, your age, your contact information, parent or guardian’s name and telephone number and a photo of yourself to Kim Geminn at kim@magichouse.org or by mail to The Magic House, 516 South Kirkwood Road, St. Louis, MO 63122, Attn: Kim Geminn, RBM.
