Conway Twitty Musical Holds Online Auditions

A musical production paying homage to the late Conway Twitty is in development, and producers are adding a unique element to the casting process for the touring attraction: They're making it possible to audition online.

“It's Only Make Believe” will tell the story of the Country Music Hall of Famer through the eyes of his children, employing many of the songs that made him famous. The producers are looking diligently for performers, and in addition to holding traditional auditions, they've set up a place on YouTube where hopeful actors can try out.

"It is much better to audition in person," producer Randy Johnson says. "But if you cannot make it to one of the three casting calls, we will be seriously considering those auditions posted on our YouTube audition site."

In addition to the part of Conway, roles are also being filled for duet partner Loretta Lynn, ex-wife Mickey Twitty, and his children: Joni, Kathy and Michael Twitty.

Casting calls will be conducted by Nashville-based Buddy Lee Attractions in Los Angeles March 29, Las Vegas April 4, and Nashville April 8.

ABC is seeking families to put their lives on the line
on this popular reality show.

Are you an outgoing mom who models?
Do you take pride in your appearance?
Are members of your family ready for a
once-in-a-lifetime adventure?

Wife Swap is a family-centered program that airs on ABC primetime.
The premise is simple: two moms from two different families get the
opportunity to swap lives for one week to experience what it's like to
live a different lifestyle - and to see what they can teach each other
about their own! The goal of the swap is for both families to take
something positive from the experience – both by teaching another
family about their values and beliefs and by learning something new
about the way other people live. The New York Post says,
"It should be called 'Life Swap' because it's not just the wives who
learn something here. It's the families." Potential families can live
anywhere in the United States, but we ask that families who apply
consist of two parents and at least one child, ages 5 or older, living
at home. To submit for the show, email a family photo, description
and contact number ASAP to or call 646-747-7958 .

Families featured on the show receive a $20,000 honorarium to thank
them for their participation.
